DANIEL PETERSON'S VIEWS ON MICROSOFT

Lord Gates and Microsoft, in my opinion (phrase included to avoid law suits by w eird people in the Northwest part of the United States of America), are the most unethical entities in business on the planet called Earth.

I do believe that Lord Gates, and others in cahoots with the scoundrel, are planing to control most, if not all, of the communications on this planet. They already have a space program much larger than that of the United States of America.

They are buying up broadcast media including cable television companies. Some of the investments are partial and some are total. For example, MSNBC is partially owned by Microsoft.

Lord Gates and friends are more powerful and control more money than many countries in this world. The United States has about 450 billion dollars in circulation. Lord Gates, himself, is worth about 50 billion dollars. Some fools will say that he must be doing something right. These fools follow Lord Gates and encourage the use of whatever products he is selling like a military supports a dictator in hope to have some power and receive money for help in exploiting a less than intelligent populous.

I have great difficulty in understanding why people defend Microsoft and Lord Gates when the products sold are, again in my opinion, at best shoddy. Why do people accept the grey rectangles that appear on the screens when the software fails to work? Why do people accept that NT servers go down without warning or even an attempt to capture the problem and still stay up?

Were I the head of a corporation, I would dismiss any employees who were mesmerized by Microsoft. Were I a stockholder of a corporation that was using Microsoft products for mission critical applications, I would file a law suite against that corporation for endangering the assets of the corporation, much like stockholders are currently doing against corporations which have yet to completely fix the problems expected when the Year 2000 arrives.

Employees of companies, which depend upon Microsoft products, should be compelled to approach management with questions as to why these terrible products are being used. Management should be asked about the alternatives that were looked at and what features did the Microsoft products have that were better than the other products that management evaluated when making the decision.

Of course, anyone making a decision to go with Microsoft has not evaluated any other technologies. If they had, they would not go with Microsoft unless intimidated with a fear of losing their jobs. Sounds like organized crime to me.

Just for the fun of it, ask someone why they chose to go with Microsoft over other competitive products. Ask which competitors were evaluated. And then watch the fool become irritated and defensive and unable to give valid reasons for going with Microsoft without a proper evaluation of alternatives.

The fact is that most companies will evaluate at least two if not three alternatives for any purchase decision on most products. If a company is interested in evaluating advertising agencies, they will interview several. If a company is interested in acquiring office products, they will get competitive bids. If a company is looking for materials to use in the manufacture of its products, it will look at several sources for each material, evaluating quality, price and supply. The sad truth is that people who go with Microsoft distributed products do not look at other sources for products that can do the same job. This is why better technology is suffering and Microsoft is doing well. The self fulfilling proficy of doom is the saying that "everyone else is using Microsoft products so we must."

If you are speaking with a Microsoft Zombie, tell them that they are fools. Remember the saying that goes something like this: When they banned Jews from attending school, I said nothing. When they placed Jews in ghettos, I said nothing. When they sent Jews to concentration camps, I did nothing. When they came for me, it was too late.

Now I do not want to diminish the terrible thing done by the Germans under the reign of Adolph Hitler, but Lord Gates and Microsoft are after supreme control of this planet and the Microsoft Youth are following Lord Gates into the dark ages of technology and freedom.

Please visit the Boycott Microsoft Web site. There, you will find articles by Ralph Nader, Mitch Stone, myself, and others. We are not crying out that the sky is falling, like Chicken Little. We are trying to change the course of a history that will bring control to a small group of people, led by the, in my opinion again, tyrant Lord Gates.

The following sites are excellent for those of you who still do not understand why Microsoft and Lord Gates are the targets of the Unites States Government and the governments of other countries around the world. If you are in amazement that anyone would want to use products other than those of Microsoft, please visit the following sites with an open mind. Failure to understand what is going on will require an open pocketbook.
